Stand-Up Comedy Workshop |
|
Writing & Performing For Kids, Teens, Families - and Your Organization!! |
|
A FUN workshop designed for cruise ships or on-site activity for traveling family members at business conferences. |
|
Stand-up
comedy has become one of the most popular forms of
entertainment in the world and a major source of talent for
television, movies, live performance stages and radio. It’s a serious
business, with a LOT of laughs. Participants in this workshop will use
their creativity to develop a short stand-up comedy routine and learn
performing techniques used by professional comedians. Dave will also
share his “insider” experiences as a talent coordinator and
consultant in Hollywood and New York, and reveal the secrets of how
comedians find success on top-rated sitcoms, late-night talk shows such
as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "The Late Show
with David Letterman," and as voices for cartoon characters. The goals are
fun and laughter during the workshop. The results are more fun and
laughter for an audience of family and friends at a show where the
newest generation of stand-up comedians are the headlining entertainers. |
